US condemns attempt on negotiator in Afghanistan

An attempt to disrupt the peace process was called by US Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad an attack on human rights activist and participant in the Afghan government negotiating group Fawzia Kufi. Earlier, the news agency reported on the signing by Afghan President Ashraf Ghani of a decree on the release of 400 especially dangerous detained Taliban militants (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation).
