In India, 14 people were injured due to ammonia leakage


In the state of Andhra Pradesh in southeastern India, at least 14 people were injured in an accident at a dairy plant on August 20. This was reported with reference to the local administration by the Hindustan Times. According to the publication, at the milk processing enterprise at about 17:00 local time, ammonia leaked. Under the influence of dangerous gas were 14 workers who were promptly taken to a local hospital. The condition of the victims is assessed by doctors as stable. The causes of the accident are not reported. Currently, the relevant services have begun an investigation into the incident.
