Twitch service and Reddit social network blocked channels supporting Trump


Channels supporting US President Donald Trump blocked the Twitch streaming service and the Reddit social network. This was announced on June 29 by the press service of Reddit and Amazon, which owns Twitch. As explained by the head of Reddit Steve Huffman, the largest forum of supporters of Trump r/The_Donald was blocked for inciting hatred of his political opponents. The leadership of the social network noted that all communities should comply with the Reddit content policy. He also explains his decision to block Trump supporters in the Twitch Amazon service. The r/ChapoTrapHouse forum was blocked, as well as about 2 thousand branches of the forums, despite the fact that a number of them are inactive. Earlier, the news agency reported that Trump's comment on Twitter about the intentions of the protesters to create an autonomous zone in Washington was marked as offensive by the leadership of the social network.
