Merkel and Netanyahu discuss what to do with coronavirus

Ways to overcome the pandemic-caused crisis were discussed on March 24 by German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the press service of the Head of Government of Israel reported on March 24. It is specified that Netanyahu and Merkel held a detailed conversation, during which proposals for a solution to the crisis caused by the COVID-19 were exchanged. In particular, the economic side of the issue was discussed, including the supply of medical equipment. The panellists agreed to maintain constant contact at the level of specialists from Germany and Israel. As previously reported by the news agency, the number of people infected with SARS- CoV -2 virus in Israel reached 1,656, almost half a hundred people are in a difficult condition.
