Putin and Zelensky held telephone conversations
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation during which they discussed a number of issues. This was announced on July 26 by the Kremlin press service. The press service said that the leaders of the two countries discussed in detail various aspects of resolving the intra-Ukrainian crisis. The need to increase the effectiveness of negotiating efforts within the framework of the Minsk Contact Group was stated (by Putin and Zelensky), the report said. The Group's meeting on 22 July gave a positive assessment of the agreement on additional ceasefire measures.
