Intermediate finish. Estonia will strengthen the protection of its border with Russia
In the Estonian county of Võrumaa, construction work began aimed at additional engineering equipment of the border between Estonia and Russia, Postimees.e reported on July 28. During the work, it is planned to build various infrastructure on the 23.5-km segment of the Estonian-Russian border from the point of connection of the borders of Latvia, Russia and Estonia to the Luhamaa border point. At the same time, Estonian Interior Minister Mart Helme said on this occasion that the state should act as a state, and one of its most important signs is the border. The real start of border construction is an important intermediate finish, after which a noticeable and better protected border will be created for Estonia, Helme said. The border is supposed to be strengthened by fences, patrol and access roads, surveillance systems and others.
