In Ukraine, announced a new historical record for grain exports

Ukraine said that the 2019/2020 marketing year ended with a new historical record for grain exports. The relevant information was published by the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development, the correspondent of the news agency reports on July 8. According to the source, 57.2 million tons of grain, legumes and flour were delivered to foreign markets, which is 6.8 million tons more than last marketing year. The largest share of exports comes from corn (30.3 million tons) and wheat, as well as a mixture of wheat and rye of 20.5 million tons. the news agency recalls that this year, according to the forecast of the authorities, the harvest in Ukraine will be 7 10 million tons or 10 15% less than last year due to severe weather conditions of the spring drought, which was replaced by summer floods.
