In Albania, 45 cases of coronavirus infection were detected per day

On 1 July, the Albanian Ministry of Health reported that a survey of 269 people in the country had identified 45 new cases of coronavirus. At the same time, another 57 people were recognized as cured. This was reported by the Albanian news agency Telegrafi. In total, 2,580 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Albania. 1,516 people have already been cured. 999 people are being treated. 65 patients died from complications caused by COVID-19, of which three in the last 24 hours. There are 71 patients in inpatient treatment, of which 10 are undergoing intensive therapy and two are connected to IVL devices. A month and a half after the start of the second wave, the number of active infections began to decline in the country. Journalists note that the ability of the authorities and residents of the country to comply with strict measures has already been exhausted. The country is waiting for an influx of tourists, which will help at least somehow mitigate the economic crisis in the country. Nevertheless, most European countries included Albania in the list of countries undesirable for tourists to visit.
