In Iraq, more than 2 thousand infected with coronavirus were identified per day

Over the past day, 2,069 cases of infection with a new type of coronavirus have been identified in Iraq, the press service of the Iraqi Ministry of Health reports. Thus, the total number of confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infections in the country reached 43,262. Also on June 27, 101 patients died in Iran from diseases caused by a new coronavirus. In total, 1,660 people have become victims of COVID-19 complications since the beginning of the pandemic in the country. According to the Iraqi Ministry of Health, a curfew in Baghdad did not help stop the spread of the infection. In Iraq, the health board is expected to discuss with the security forces the situation with an increase in the number of people infected with a new type of coronavirus.
