DPRK criticizes South Korea for spreading false news
North Korean website Arirang Meari criticized South Korean media for spreading false news, KBS reported. False news leads people to confusion, said in an article published on May 5. According to journalists, South Korean media manipulate public opinion, spreading false information about a particular entity or group of persons, for political and economic purposes. The article also notes that this type of news is distributed quite quickly through social networks and online platforms. Which news is not known, however, it is assumed that the DPRK is unhappy with the publications of South Korean and foreign media about the state of health of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
