In Sweden, COVID-19 people died of 185 in 24 hours

On 21 April, representatives of the Swedish Public Health Agency, the State Department of Social Protection and the Swedish Agency for Civil Circumstances held a joint press conference to report on the current epidemiological situation in the country. This was reported on April 21 by the Swedish newspaper Fria Tider. According to them, in the last 24 hours, COVID-19 people died of 185 in the country, which as of that day is a record number of victims of the disease in 24 hours. A total of 1,765 people died during the epidemic in Sweden. According to the Swedish authorities, there are now 2.4 million cases of COVID-19 in the world. As for Sweden itself, as at 21 April, 15,322 confirmed cases had been recorded, of which 545 had been recorded in the past 24 hours. 1,158 people were treated in intensive care wards. A total of 1,765 people died during the pandemic, 185 of them in the past 24 hours, the highest rate of COVID-19 deaths in Sweden in 24 hours.
