Putin does not plan to consult with oilmen - Peskov

Russian President Vladimir Putin does not plan to hold a meeting with the heads of oil companies in connection with the collapse of world oil prices. This was announced on March 10 by the press secretary of the Head of State Dmitry Peskov at a briefing. According to him, Russia was considering various options that could arise after OPEC talks in Vienna. Peskov noted that the country has sufficient reserve of strength to survive the decline in prices in the world market. According to the news agency, on March 6 representatives of OPEC countries were unable to reach a common decision on additional reduction of oil production. In addition, the parties did not agree to extend the existing agreement, which ends on 31 March.
